Emmanuelle – General / Business French Teacher
Emmanuelle is originally from La Rochelle, studied in Poitiers (she has a Master’s degree in English, German, and French as a foreign language) and since 1995 has been teaching her native language to children and adults. She is passionate about her job, loves teaching, and enjoys bringing conversation out of her students by playing with the language while laughing, reading, and writing! Her students are between 11 and 89 years old and they all want to improve their French, which is good, because that is also her goal.
Emmanuelle est originaire de La Rochelle, elle a fait ses études à Poitiers (elle est titulaire d’une maîtrise d’anglais, allemand, français langue étrangère) et depuis 1995, elle enseigne sa langue maternelle aux petits et aux grands. Elle est passionnée par son métier, elle adore enseigner, elle aime beaucoup faire parler ses élèves, les faire jouer avec la langue et rigoler, les faire lire et écrire ! Ses élèves ont entre 11 et 89 ans et ils veulent tous améliorer leur français, ça tombe bien, c’est aussi son objectif.
Emmanuelle – General / Business French Teacher
Emmanuelle grew up in Dunkirk, France. After finishing her Master’s degree in translation in Germany, she wanted to start her career as a freelance translator and began to give tutoring lessons in French in order to supplement her income during the first months. That’s when she realized how much she enjoyed teaching. Since then, she’s been teaching French to children, young adults, students, and adults. At the university level, she’s lectured classes on translation and French civilization. She constantly tries to find fun approaches to teaching her native language, and easy ways to explain the grammar so it sticks. Her passion is not only teaching languages, but also to learning them: she speaks German, English, and is currently taking lessons in Spanish and Japanese. She also loves travelling and discovering cultures from all over the world.
Emmanuelle a grandi à Dunkerque en France. Après avoir terminé sa maîtrise en traduction en Allemagne, elle a souhaité débuter sa carrière de traductrice indépendante et a également commencé à donner des cours de soutien scolaire en français afin de compléter ses revenus pendant les premiers mois. C’est alors qu’elle a réalisé à quel point elle aimait enseigner. Depuis, elle enseigne le français aux enfants, aux jeunes adultes, aux étudiants et aux adultes. Au niveau universitaire, elle a donné des cours de traduction et de civilisation française. Elle essaie constamment de trouver des approches amusantes pour enseigner sa langue maternelle, et la manières la plus simple d’expliquer la grammaire . Sa passion n’est pas seulement d’enseigner les langues, mais aussi de les apprendre : elle parle allemand, anglais et prend actuellement des cours d’espagnol et de japonais. Elle aime aussi voyager et découvrir les cultures du monde entier.
Hannah – General / Business French Teacher
Different languages bring out different characters in a person. Language is not just grammatical; it brings culture and another mentality with it. This can often lead to misunderstandings. Hannah has loved languages since childhood and lived for 12 months each in France and Scotland. There, she experienced what it’s like to express oneself in another language and to encounter the culture and mentality of a new country. She is currently studying to become a language teacher in the public school system in Bavaria and has many years of teaching experience. She is fluent in French, English, and German and has extensive experience in online teaching.
Différentes langues réveillent différents caractères chez une personne. La langue n’est pas seulement grammaticale; elle apporte avec elle la culture et une autre mentalité. Cela peut souvent conduire à des malentendus. Hannah aime les langues depuis son enfance et a vécu 12 mois en France et 12 mois en Écosse. Là, elle a fait l’expérience de ce que c’est que de s’exprimer dans d’autres langues et de découvrir la culture et la mentalité d’un autre pays. Elle étudie pour devenir enseignante et a déjà de nombreuses années d’expérience dans l’enseignement. Elle parle couramment le français, l’anglais et l’allemand et a également beaucoup d’expérience dans l’enseignement en ligne.
Laure – General / Business French Teacher
Laure grew up in La Rochelle and turned her passion for classical singing and foreign languages into a career. Her studies and professional experiences led her to Paris, Vienna, and finally to Stuttgart, where she is passionate about teaching French, German and singing, both in face-to-face classes and online.
For her, her students are in the foreground. Whether child, teenager or adult, the most important thing is that the lessons are a moment of pleasure, sharing, and learning!
